Q: Do you travel to other Cities or States?
A: Yes
Q: Do you have dancers, percussionists, Guitar player or Violinist?
A: Yes. We do provide PROFESSIONAL musicians only.
We also offer Belly dancers, Stage or Crowd dancers, Gogo dancers, Salsa dancers, traditional Persian dancers or a combination
Q: Can we meet with you in person to discuss?
A: Because of high volume of calls it is not feasible to meet with every one as much as we would like to. However, if you have a wedding event we can have a first meeting for one hour and plan the rest of your event through the communication technology like phones, faxes or emails
Q: Do you have an event that we can come to see how you perform?
A: We perform at more than two events per week but unfortunately can not invite any guests to private events for many reasons. The Best is to Watch Video Clips in the video gallery or get referrals from the pervious clients we performed for
The Videos are combinations of many different events, so it can give you a very good idea of how our setup will look like, how the musicians play and exactly what you would see if you were to come to one of our events. Regarding music, we play accordingly as every event is different from one another
Please keep in mind that DJ Taraneh has been providing professional DJ services since1995 and we are not beginner DJs
Q: How do you play the songs? Do you mix or fade in fade out?
A: The mixes are live, seamless and smooth transitions from one song to another, so your guests can keep dancing nonstop without any interruptions or pause to the music
Q: Do you have enough sound equipment?
A: We have our own sound system for as large as 1500 guests room capacity. We also never rent our system to others with out a personal supervision to make sure the quality is the same all the time
Q: Do you Emcee or make announcements?
A: Yes, in fact we do announcements in Persian and English from Grand Entrances to First Dance to any other announcements that gets the crowd on the dance floor and gives energy
Q: How do you dress to the event?
A: We dress properly because we represent you. We always wear suite & tie for formal events like weddings and engagements
Q: Do you take any special request songs or if we give you a CD would you play it?
A: Yes, requests are wellcomed and we will talk in details regarding music and timeline about 10 days or so prior to your event
Q: Do you have extra Microphones?
A: We have 2 cordless microphones and more can be arranged by request
Q: How long in advance should we book you?
A: Sometimes we get booked the day of the event and sometimes we get booked 10-16 months in advance. The sooner you call us the more likely we will be available. Clients are booked only when they pay a deposit. Once you pay a deposit the date will be booked for you and we put all our focus on your event only
Q: When you book us who will perform as a DJ?
A: DJ Taraneh and his team will show up unless there were other agreements in advance. DJ Taraneh also works as a refferal agency reffering selected persian djs in Los Angeles and Irvine, Orange County area
Advantages of booking DJs through us is that we already know who is good or better or who does a better job for certain crowd or event. DJs who are booked through us are proffesionals and experienced and will do a better job to get booked by DJ Taraneh again and again
Q: Have you worked with other bands before?
A: Yes, we have worked alongside many American and Persian singers like Martik, Sahram Shabpareh, Omid, Moein, Satar, Aghili, Morteza Barjesteh, Andy, Mory, Shila, Leila Forouhar, Ahmad Azad, Black Cats and many more
Q: Do you invite your own friends to events?
A: Never
Q: Do you come alone or with another person to help?
A: Depending on how large the event is. Usually for large events one or two team member will come to help
Q: What is your price?
A: Prices depend on location, type of event, date, hours of work and basically the package that you are getting. For instance you pay less for a small birthday party than a wedding where you need extra sound equipment, extra planning, meetings and follow-ups. The best is to contact us and we’ll qoute you a reasonable price
Q: When do we pay your final balance?
A: Either by check 7 days before the event or cash before performance
Q: Is the percussionist necessary?
A: A good percussionist can make the rhythm sound much better and nicer. Not only they add a nicer look to your stage making it look like a live band, but also they give more energy to the music and your guest by playing live and enhancing the music. That only applies to a PROFESSIONAL percussionist
Q: There is another DJ that charges less. Can you give us a better price?
A: We try to keep prices affordable for 90% of people and at the same time provide quality in service, sound, lighting and good musicians to create a better value for what you pay. prices are firm and the same for everybody
We don't cancel on client last minute to book higher paying jobs. Many beginner DJs who don't have our experience may charge less, but we take our job very seriously and we never cut corners
